WHERE 42 BEGAN

42 Hotel takes its name from the 42 villages in Gujarat, India, where the Patel family’s story starts. Brothers Harshad and Nik Patel came to the United States for school,  studied engineering and business, and spent over twenty years building hotels across New York City. This Williamsburg location is their first property to carry the 42 name. It reflects their approach to hospitality: thoughtful design, personal service, and a commitment to building things that last.
